A History of Kashmir by P.N.K Bamzai

This book is a welcome addition to the long story of Kashmir. There are some old histories of Kashmir written in the Persian language and there is the famous Rajtarangini written in Sanskrit eight hundred years ago and brought up-to-date from time to time. The Rajtarangini in fact is supposed to be the only history as such in Sanskrit. This fairly comprehensive history of Shri P N K Bamzai is, therefore, so far as the only book of its kind and it is to be welcomed.
